In the summer of 1994, at age 19, murderfarm creator joined a death metal band with some former high school classmates. He assumed the role of frontman as the guitarist/vocalist. Initially the band referred to themselves as 'Infest,' but eventually changed their name to 'Sarcosis'. They released a 3 song demo entitled "Abstract Horror" in early 1997 and, despite a sizeable following, disbanded that same year.

He went on as a solo artist, writing and recording all of his own songs eventually forming "murderfarm" in 2000. His new material varies from hardcore death metal to acoustical based slower songs. He has since formed an additional band (Sense of Demise) to support his acoustic based music. "Sense of Demise" has downloads available at myspace.com/senseofdemise.

The Name.....

His great great uncle, Ed Gein, was one of the most infamous serial killers in history. Ed lived alone in a very dark and evil farmhouse in Plainsfield, Wisconsin. Local residents often referred to Gein's farm as 'THE MURDER FARM.'
